It was a Sunday afternoon and the two young rabbits, Audrey and Oliver, had gone to visit Mr and Mrs Wickerbrac. It was raining and Audrey and Oliver couldn't play outside, so Mr. Wickerbrac settled down to tell them a story - a true story.

It was all about when he was young, a search for a gift, a great adventure, and the very, very special gift which resulted.

Audrey and Oliver loved it, and so will you.

Dee Huxley's story and illustrations work together beautifully to give a charming effect.
