Illustrated by James Mathew

A wonderfully unique take on the original Noah's Ark story, with stunning illustrations.

When Mr Noah builds the ark, he also makes two lists. One list is all the animals who should come into the ark, two by two. The other list is all those "troublesome creatures", such as the unicorns, which Mr Noah plans to leave behind. Meanwhile Mrs Noah is busy too. She gets out her sewing machine and makes a big coat – with lots and lots of pockets, and when the coat is finished she puts it on and heads out to the Mythico Woods! The animals come aboard, the ark sails and Mrs Noah tells stories of dragons and unicorns, gryphons, the phoenix and all the other mythical creatures. And when the ark at last finds land, Mrs Noah puts on her coat with lots of pockets one last time...
